Give the AI task a place to take shape
Before asking for a finished draft, make the job visible: what is the decision, what evidence counts, who reviews it and what must stop it? A research-agenda preprint proposes a shared interface for this kind of work. It does not report a proven outcome gain.
What the source reports
Nathan Conklin, Miranda Capra and Chris North outline a research plan for working with AI. They propose a shared space where people can shape a task. The goal is to make choices visible before a polished answer arrives. A prompt alone may hide what the job needs. A team could draw the fields a colleague needs before asking for a draft. Who decides? What proof counts? Who checks the work? What would stop it? The paper does not show that this exercise raises test scores or improves district work. It is a proposal, not a trial. Two authors also worked on the cyber review paper in this edition. These papers are related ideas, not separate tests that confirm each other.
