Make repeat work repeatable

A research team turned successful AI-assisted analytics runs into reusable programs. In its set tests, the resulting tool calls were more consistent. That does not show how the method performs in an everyday workplace.

What the source reports

Sabouri and colleagues describe FlashScript, a method for turning successful analytics runs into reusable programs. The Beyond Prompting digest says the authors tested 120 template tasks and 108 new instances drawn from the same templates. In those reported tests, tool calls became more consistent. This is a result from set tests, not evidence from a live office deployment. The digest suggests marking which steps in a public-data task stay fixed, which change with input, and which still require a person. That is a practical translation of the paper, not a tested intervention. Consistent steps also do not prove that every result is true.
